Why Johnny Depp inspires me.

Johnny Depp has to be one of my biggest inspirations to become an actor. His movies had lured me in so much that I am now wishing I can perform a movie someday. The way he changes his character! Willa Wonka to Alice in Wonderland and some of his older movies like The Man Who Cried and The Astronaut's Wife. I could name a whole set of movies he did!

I know some things about Johnny Depp. Not entirely but definitely a portion. I know he never originally wanted to be famous. In on of his quotes you can find online he talks about how you should never aim to be famous. Just do what you do. He does not like to be labeled and he does not see himself as a serious actor at all.

These are some quotes from Johnny Depp that really touch me.
-With any part you play, there is a certain amount of yourself in it. There has to be, otherwise it's just not acting. It's lying.
-There is nothing on earth that could ever make me want to relive certain years of my life when I was young.
-You do the work and you want people to see it; but, um while I'm doing the work, the result doesn't matter at all to me. Ultimately, I don't, I don't care whether the film is - you know - some big giant box-office bonanza and I don't care if its a complete flop. To me, when a film gets made and it's actually finished it's a success. They're all a success in their own way.

My ideal acting role.

For some strange reason my acting role was to always play as a guy character. I guess it's because I play video games a lot and often play as a guy character like GTA, or Resident Evil and some others like that. I gotten really familiar with the character and always wanted to be cast for a role like that. I also love playing roles where I am yelling or debating against someone. And of course the silly characters. But, my ideal role I would say would be a guy character. I always wanted to act as one.

Usually at home I act like several different characters. I really do it for fun. I know how to act like most of my family members because I've studied them so much. When it comes to acting and Theatre, I like to observe and study the character I am playing before presenting it. I want to make sure I know my character.

I think with any role you play you must study that character in order to step into it. Imagine being a quiet person then having to be assigned the role of a bitchy character with no respect? Takes time to get into it.

What do I like about acting?

Theatre is performing. Which connects to speaking in crowds or speeches. Even talking in class when the teacher calls on you. Theatre helps you on that department because in Theatre you are constantly performing what you created. The scenes. The characters. The everything. I like acting because is helps me to become stronger.

There are numerous things I like about acting. It's mainly the feeling I get just before I perform something on stage or in front of a camera of some sort. The butterflies come and go each and every time and for some strange reason it feels slightly good. I have been participating in acting activities and such since freshmen year of high school and I have to tell you it helps build confidence. That is why I love doing it. It helps me to speak up to people and also to feel better about myself and what I am capable of doing.

Acting isn't just getting on stage and following a script all day. You have to emotionally and psychically involve yourself in it. Within it. If you can not "feel" your character then it's not true acting. There are many actors on TV who show very little acting skills. Often never changing the expression on their face or just plain slacking. The way they got famous I do not know but acting should most definitely not be something you do to just get famous for. You have to feel it. Don't slack. Get serious. Get real.

13 Questions - What do you question?

What I question in life would be reincarnation and the idea that people were once in a previous life before this one and some how that life and it's aspects has effected who we are today. Reincarnation is basically the same soul being put into another life every time till you die and are put into another life in another generation and it goes on and on. I feel I am believing more and more on this idea because of the things I experience in my life today. Some things come out to me like I wouldn't believe and I can't seem to understand as to why it stands out so much.

The reason why I question this belief is because I noticed when I would come to new places I know I have not been to before and all of a sudden a gust of Deja Vu would overwhelm me and I would instantly feel like I have been here before. It's something that happens to me occasionally not very often but when it does happen I "feel" something. Like a certain significance to this place is telling me something happened here involving "me". There are also certain objects or songs that I would listen to as well as games and books that I have seemed to experience a special connection to. It's as if it speaks to me in a very spiritual way.

I have been feeling this feeling for a long time. Around 5 or 6 years old to now I believe. Do you ever find yourself doing something new that you haven't tried before and you some how are able to do it perfectly and naturally without any problems what so ever? As if you know the exact steps and precautions do doing that "thing"? This is something people should look more into even if they do not believe. Try making a list of all the things in your life that you especially bond to or feel some kind of "connection" to and see what you can figure out.

13 Questions - What do you believe life is about?

I believe life is about trying to find your true "goal" and doing what ever it is possible to keep and pursue that goal. This is what life means to me. The meaning of life is different in other people's eyes. But, I truly feel that life to me is about reaching your goal and never giving up no matter how bad the situation has gotten in your life. You struggle and struggle in life and it pushes and knocks you over constantly but you will find that opening to get up and keep on your Journey towards your goal.

Picture your goal as a shining light that is all the way across the globe. It could possibly be on another planet. Think of it as a straight line towards that pathway. In life, there is no such thing as a straight line towards something. Certain situations may intercept with your path such as relationships, money, family, society, all sorts of things that are conjoined in your life can change the way you get to your goal. Some people give up easily and forget about their one true goal and just go along with what life has to give.

My view is that there are so many unique things on earth that you can discover and some people are just not taking the time to take it. It's because of the loss of faith and hope. You can NOT reach your goal if you do not have faith and hope. The moment you start doubting your goal and of you getting to it, the more it will actually come true. Life is meant to be hard for a reason. It's a test. We are all being tested to see what decisions we make and how much we are able to stay strong.

13th Question - What do you fear?

There are a lot of things that I fear in life. Water bugs, maggots, mosquitoes, drowning, water. There is a widespread list of those tiny things that people can overcome but then there are those fears that just "stick" with you. Fear is definitely there to change who you are and turn you down a level. It stops your flow of confidence but you can not let it do that. You can not let fear own you as a person.

Something I fear would be the one thing that most people in this world would argue is either not real, not that bad, or just plain rubbish. Hell is my biggest fear. The reason why it's such a big fear is because once you get there, you can not go back, the pain is endless. Another one of my biggest fears is pain. Emotional pain is inescapable. Once you have it thrown at you, it sticks to you unless you are to find some way to get rid of it. Most people can not get rid of emotional pain and it just feels as if Hell just came to earth. Things you experience on earth that has to do with pain and suffering is exactly what awaits in Hell. It's endless. And to me, that's scary.

Obviously, to most people Hell and Heaven is just as mythical as Greek gods and such. To me, I feel I have a strong belief in God and the thought of there being a Heaven and a Hell. The only way you can believe is if you stand witness to God's power... or Satan's. It's like magic. It only exists if you truly believe in it.
